A coffee shop in Chile faced serious issues with its coffee machines caused by limescale. Hard water led to frequent breakdowns and required monthly service calls. This disrupted operations and worsened the customer experience.
In August 2024, a KalyxX Active system was installed to prevent limescale deposits without removing beneficial minerals.
Result:
- Since installation, no machine failures have occurred.
- Emergency service calls have been eliminated.
- Thanks to the preservation of calcium and magnesium, the coffee has a fuller taste.
- Ensured long machine lifespan without corrosion or damage.
KalyxX Active is now gradually being introduced in other coffee shops in Chile as a smart alternative to reverse osmosis.
