The OptimFlush system is suitable for both types of flushing – “siphon” (mainly Asia and USA) and “washdown” (mainly Europe and the Middle East).
How OFS Works
OFS is a unique toilet flushing system using pressure taken from the pipes. Compressed air with water is stored in tanks inside the toilet, ready to be released. The result is a very efficient and quiet flush, which cannot be achieved using gravity flushing (used in standard toilets in Europe).

Studio S
The OptimFlush system was introduced to the American market by American Standard in June 2020 as part of the new Studio S bathroom series.
Studio S is quieter than most comparable toilets, requires no batteries or electricity, and uses standard bathroom water supply connections.
