The IPS100 technology, compared to IPS, uses a white tablet filter medium designed to protect against the formation of limescale. When untreated water passes through the filter medium and electrodes, the ability of calcium to form limescale deposits is deactivated. It is not suitable for drinking water treatment. No substances from the list of 233 SVHC candidates according to the REACH regulation with a concentration greater than 0,1 % (w/w) were detected in the filter medium, and the medium is significantly more environmentally friendly than standard polyphosphates (56 times less phosphorus is released into the water).
